The human foot is an amazing piece of complex engineering structure consisting of 26 bones, 33 joints and more than a hundred muscles, tendons, and ligaments.
Incredibly 20 of these joints are articulated and withstand tremendous amounts of use.
They also put up with a fair bit of abuse and when things do go wrong, we find out how much we take our poor old feet for granted.
Some of the completely treatable common conditions ( this also includes patients with Diabetes ) that Lisa deals with are:
- Fungal Nail
- Thickened Nails – Due to Trauma or Fungal
- Athletes Foot
- Corns/Calluses
- Ingrown Toenails
- Fingernails
- Veruccas
Also one of the key ways to look after your feet is buying the right footware. Do this and many conditions can be alleviated and very often avoided altogether.
Lisa can help and advise you on this as well as helping you with any pre-existing condition.
